Study programmes

Bachelor's study programe Mechatronics and Robotics started in 2013/2014 study year.
The aim of this study programe is to prepare multidimensional specialists, who will be able to work technical, organizational and constructional jobs, to have good knowledge of mechtronic and robotic systems exploitation and maintenence. Theoretical knowledge about mechanics, applied electronics, operating systems of mechanisms and robots, cognition of mechatronics and robotics systems designing methods, ability to recognize and analyse technical problems, to formulate and solve practical tasks of mechatronics and robotics, to design and study mechatronics and robotics systems will allow students to adapt not only in production and manufacturing engineering but also in other industies.

Department of Mechatronics and Robotics has two Master degree study programmes:
The programme Mechatronics is a joint study programme. The duration of this programme is 2 years (4 semesters). The joint programme would be coordinated as follows: the first and second semesters are coordinated by VGTU in Lithuania, the third and fourth ones by TU Braunschweig in Germany.
The programme Mechatronics Systems is two years (4 semesters) study programme in VGTU.
Qualification degree of both master degree programmes  - Master of mechatronics.
